Ashgabat 2017 5th AIMAG

The 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games will be hosted in the city of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in September 2017 and will see over 5,500 Athletes from 62 National Olympic Committees competing in 21 sports over 11 days of competition.

We are delighted to be appointed, along with our JV partners, Chanzo as the Operator for Games Planning and Delivery for the AIMAG event.

The project represents the unprecedented challenge of planning and operating a major multi-sport event in less than 500 days. To achieve this we are building a world  class team comprising over 280 international experts, 400 local staff and 8000 volunteers to deliver the operations and preparations for the event.

Under the leadership of esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow we are working in partnership with our delivery partners from the Ministries of Turkmenistan and numerous other stakeholders to deliver a spectacular AIMAG in 2017.
