Trivandi Merges with SoldOut Events to Expand Major Events Capability in Australia

Locally led team combines global mega-event expertise with 33 years of Australian production experience, providing one integrated partner from strategy and planning through to live delivery and lasting impact

Trivandi Australia has announced its merger with leading Australian agency SoldOut Events creating a locally led major-events team, strengthening its capability to support clients from initial feasibility and strategy through creative, production and event-time delivery to final impact.

This merger brings together Trivandi’s global track record in mega-event advisory and operations with SoldOut’s 33 years of Australian production experience with offices across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. For clients, it creates one connected Australian partner across the full event lifecycle, integrating the people shaping the strategy with the expertise required to deliver it.

SoldOut brings an established Australian team and specialist expertise across creative, technical production, staging and builds, temporary infrastructure, signage, theming and fit-out, warehousing and logistics, event crews and site management. Key events include projects across the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, Rugby World Cup 2027 and 2029 launch, World Pride and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The merger significantly increases the scale and depth of Trivandi Australia’s operations at a time of major growth in the market, including the runway to Brisbane 2032 as Australia enters a defining decade for major events.

Headshot of Rob NelsonRob Nelson , Trivandi Regional Director, Australia and APAC said:

“Australia is entering one of the most significant periods of major event activity in its history, and we have been steadily building our local presence, people and capability to support the opportunity ahead.
“The merger with SoldOut is an important next step in that growth and brings together an extraordinary depth of major event experience. Across the combined team, our experience spans every Summer Olympic Games since Sydney 2000, World Expos, FIFA World Cups and Commonwealth Games. Trivandi was recently the Official Event Delivery Partner for Glasgow 2026, while SoldOut has spent three decades producing some of Australia’s largest events, including as the Official Event Agency of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
“What makes this combination so powerful is the breadth and depth of Australian leadership and expertise. Clients can work with one locally led partner from the earliest strategic conversations through to technical production and event-time delivery, supported by people who have actually planned and delivered major events in Australia and around the world.”

“After 33 years of proudly building SoldOut in Australia, joining Trivandi represents an exciting next chapter for our business, our people and our clients.
“Becoming part of Trivandi gives our team direct access to a global network of major event expertise, proven methodologies and an international project pipeline. It creates new opportunities for our people to work on some of the world’s most complex events, while bringing that global experience, network and best practice back to Australia.
“Importantly, it also allows our production and delivery expertise to inform projects much earlier – helping shape strategy and operational planning from the outset and ultimately delivering stronger outcomes and the best value for money for our clients.”

The merger marks the latest step in Trivandi’s continued investment and growth in Australia, following the establishment of its Asia-Pacific hub in Brisbane in March 2025 and the acquisition of overlay specialist, Cutler Synthesized Projects in May 2025. This has enabled Trivandi to build greater in-market capability across advisory, planning, production and delivery under the Trivandi Group.
