2023 UCI Cycling World Championships

A change in requirements meant that a physical, rather than digital, flag programme was required to be delivered within six weeks’ notice.

Trivandi utilised its Associate Network to quickly mobilise an experienced team that could integreate with the existing Cycling Wolrd Championships central operational team to take over the logistical planning of the Flag Programme.

This involved sourcing and /or managing flag assets, and checking, sorting, distributing, and managing the flags, teams and ceremonial choreography for all flag ceremonies on the ground. Trivandi liaised directly with Event Delivery Partners and Sports Presentation entities to ensure a cohesive integration.

Trivandi successfully checked, sorted, distributed and managed 950+ flags across 90+ ceremonies for 10 World Championships at seven different venues, working closely with Girl Guides Scotland, who raised flags for every ceremony. All planned and delivered in just eight weeks.
